kongkong turns 94!

Kongkong turns 94! :)

Isn't that just plain amazing? We planned a huge birthday bash for kongkong, where 400 guest attended to celebrate this memorable day where kongkong hits 94! its unbelievable how strong and alert he is still! the dinner started from 6.30pm all the way till 11.30pm. man, do elderly know how to paaaartay! :)

The food was awesome! and it was a great night of meeting kongkong's friends, relatives and friends. So much catching up, so little time! Uncle gave a lovely speech on kongkong, pohpoh and bites of family memories.

Man, his speech made me miss my grandmum so much. She taught and loved me so much while she was around.

Couz gave an awesome speech on behalf of all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He speech was on how kongkong has taught us so much, and how great a grandfather he is to us. My grandfather has undoubtedly taught each and everyone of us to always give back, work hard, and to keep peace wherever we go. great values i'd say. I'm blessed.

Its amazing how up-to-date kongster is with social issues, tech and so on! :) rock ooonz!

Kong kong was honoured by the indian society during the birthday bash. The tradition showed that the highest honour and respect was being given to my kongkong :) so sweet! and what a honour and memory!

Kongster then gave his speech, thanking everyone, advising others (since ppl keep asking how he's so healthy at his age) and so forth. man, did he crack up the crowd! :) us grandchildren said.. we could make kongster's quotes into bumper stickers n T-shirts. yes, it was THAT hillarious.

There were many performances and speeches throughout the night. Truckloads of laughter! Kongster's cake was so huge it was pretty ridiculous! :) thank you to secret recipe for the massive cake! :D yumz.

All in all, it was one fabulous night. We were super exhausted. but every memory made was worth the time and effort :) and, I thank God for my awesome kongkong :) <3

Its a beautiful thing to see friends have new fantastic adventures and experiences. :)

But its sad to see some friends who you thought would be close to you always, and be there no matter what, just forget you as their lives move on.

I guess what people say is true. Friends are temporary. They will always move on with their lives, and they are likely to forget you.

But there is always family, and few who are true friends, and those people, no matter where they are, or what their doing, they always make time and effort for you. <3

Hello world!

So personally my crazy semester is almost done! :D HAALLLEELUJAH. its definately been one non-stop hectic sem, but i must say.. I did enjoy myself and learned a whole lot of stuff! I've got no time to blog right now, but here are some shots from the community project my friends and I have did this sem :)

We were assigned to intervene at the PPR flats, where very low-income families stay. Its was pretty shocking i'd say seeing their living conditions. Pretty unsanitary :(

We chose to target the children (2-5yrs) to intervene on their nutrition and improve it.Did some data collection on the kids, and found out there were some malnourished. and many were picky eaters.

So we planned out a whole intervention programme, targetting various aspects.

cooking healthy/overcome picky eater issues
hygeine
exercise

We educated the families on these aspects! whee!

I was allocated picky eaters issues. man, was it hillarious. My BM had merosot-ed since i left high school. So i had major probs trying to write out my poster the day before intervention day! but speaking to the crowd wasn't that bad :) THANK GOD. haha. [ i apologized to the crowd for my possibly bad bm before i started speaking. HAHA] and the aunties were absolutely sweet helping me when i forgot how to say certain words! Gotta love em.

It was tons of fun. For me, it was great to see the joy on their faces and how much fun they were having from what we were doing for them :)

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been able to update. God know's if any of u even read this blog anymore. haha

This sem for me is INSANE. I swear! classes 8am-6pm everyday. Jammed pack with tests, projects and assignments due! If you walk into IMU, you'll see ND109 looking like crazy panda people who never stop working or sleep. So busy, we forget lunch at times. haha! ;)

Helloooo lovelies! :D Firstly..

BLESSED CHRISTMAS
and
HAPPY NEW YEAAAR!

I hope ya'll had an awesome one filled with great joy, love, laughter and memories. I know I did! :)

I've been traveling quiet a bit this past month. so i shall blog about those "adventures" later on. For now.. CHRISTMAS! :D:D:D

I swear, its one of my utter most fav seasons. Carols in the malls, pretty deco, all the love going around.. What's not to love about the season? :) hehee.

So this Christmas, church asked me and my lovely partner, Beatrice, to choreograph for our church musical. When they first asked me, I swear.. I almost shat in my pants. HAHA Debated it out.. hmmm, a new challenge to take on so.. why not? :)

and.. I'm glad I did! :D I got to know others better, closer to a few. Pushed my boundaries. Served God, blessed others, and it also made me feel very much at home. Loved it!

I'de like to say, I'm very proud of each and every dancer. You guys were such troopers through everything! and ya'll were fantastic!

On finale night, I swear after the opening dance, I screamed like a crazy proud mama in the audience (oh i pray the video recording didn't capture that). HAHA Cast and crew, job well done! :)

Christmas day was spent with familia :) while night was spent at Aaron's place! Lovely day of bonding and chilling out. haha ;)

Midst all the celebration, everything reminded me how much I've been blessed this year. Truly thankful. Loves! :) Hope ya'll had a great one too! Cheers!

Anyways, will give a "summarized" version on what had happened over the months. ;)

JULY 2010 orientation! :)

Was on committee & emceed the event alongside jaws! TONS. OF. FUN! :D So many things happening in 5 days. hectic, insane, but loved every bit of it!

Variety night(greecian themed), bullied juniors, met new friends (who have been such blessings!), performed a dance, finale night (masquerade)..etc!

Firstly, THANK YOU everyone for all the lovely presents/cakes/smses/calls and all. Really appreciate each and every one of them :)

Initially.. I thought of having the usual party bash sorta thing to rush in my lovely "adulthood". But after much thought and certain circumstances, decided to just have a small chill out session. :) which is what I really wanted actually. Just good time with good friends :)

Joe suprised me with dinner in putrajaya! He brought his whole kitchen in his car, I swear. HAHA He cooked the whole dinner from scratch, which to me.. was really sweet of him :)) Thank you again fuzzy bear.

As for the besties, we kept it simple. Small dinner, fellowship followed by baskin robbins! Yes, we love our ice-cream :D haha loves.

Unimates! We headed to desapark city! :) Chill, celebrate, fool around, eat.. Aaah, joy! Mummy and I made our traditional family chicken with bacon roast and tuna pasta! Pizza, cake and doughtnuts were bought! :) Fun bonding time.

Don't know what i'de do without these lovely babes.
They make uni life so much more memorable and fun!

They were so uber sweet, they serenaded me with 2 songs! Melted my heart. haha!

This sem we have to learn to cook as in ze future we will be in control of the huge kitchens in the hospitals and stuff. I LOVE COOKING CLASS :D its hillarious! so far, we've made cakes, omeletes, breads n loads more. :) then we compare the differences between our foods, THEN EAT THEM. oh joy :D haha! though sometimes, our food comes out wrong, but wtheck right? omnyomnyom. haha!

Redang, day 3!

we dragged our butts out of bed super early to check out, had breakfast and said our last goodbyes to ze b-e-a-utiful island. :(

love this sleepy head to bits :)

the boat ride back was insane. we were flying above waves. thw wind blowing back at us was so strong it felt like my raybans were gonna fly of my face. but.. it was insanely fun :D haha

on the hotel bus back to the station, we all k.o-ed. deeeep sleep yo. hahaa :) then we had lunch at mcD before boarding our bus for our LONG 7 HOUR RIDE. haha all in all, a great time with ze besties :) lovee!

Redang, day 2

we woke up at 7am to have breakfast, then we headed out the marine park to snorkel! :D It was epic! debbie and i were happily swimming when the HUGE ASS GAROUPA came up at us. haha loved seeing the eels (MASSIVE!) corals and touching the fishes :) it was pure bliss!

After snorkeling, we had lunch then more snorkeling! hahaha it was so fun :D:D:D

After our snorkeling trip, we headed to our hotel's beach to..feed fishes, play beach football, chill out, play kite and loads more :) pure fun! haha if only life was like this everyday *dreams* haha

Redang, day 1!

We departed the night before for our extremely cold long but hillarious 7 hour bus ride to terengganu! from zac yelling loudly to piss ppl off while they tried to sleep, us munching on butterscotch bread and other snacks, freezing cold and running to the toilet. haha fun :)

we reached kuala terengganu at 5am and chilled around eating eggs n nasi lemak before heading to the ferry! The boat ride, was AWESOME. haha :) well, personally i love the sea. so it was just great bouncing on them waves ;) when we arrived, the beach that greeted us.. pure awesomeness! sand that dosn't stick and as soft as powder? HEAVEN.

Checked in, had "breakfast" or more like semi burnt toast cause we over toasted our bread. hahaha. then moved into our rooms, got changed for snorkeling, had lunch then off we went! :D i must say, there were such pretty corals and fishes everywhere!! :) loves.

After our 2 hour snorkeling trip, we headed back for tea.. then baby shark hunting! :) we snorkeled looking for them baby sharks. THEY WERE THE CUTEST. :D almost touched them but they swam away :( oh well. see-ing them right infront of my face made my day! heheee.

During dinner, mr tay decided to drop by! :) lut n i then escorted him to the jungle pass he had to go through then we jogged back. jogging by the beach was great. i can't wait to do it (hopefully) everyday in aus! hehee.

Later that night, we just chilled out, drank, danced to the blasting music of the bar, and let loose. love it. love them :)

Seriously, i'm so not use to not having them around anymore! SIGH and soon, lutlut will fly of too :(:(:( but i guess everyone knew this was gonna happen all over again sooner or later. On the bright side, their coming home in a few months! HAHA :D so no tears there! *grins*

the homies decided to have a shopping/movie/ikea day togethergether! :)

first stop? IKEAAAA! meatballs..mmm omnyomnyom! :) hehee. i wanted ice-cream, but decided not too since i was kinda pretty full already! :P then the group split into 2 - pick up movie tickets/get luthers hair cut. that boy, needed a trim. haha we were basically laughing/snapping photos/sweltering in the friigin hot shop throughout his cut :P

After the movie we split up once again to get dinner/pick debbie. haha we got stuck in the massive jam trying to go get food, landed up back at vics with dinner for everyone one hour into the match? HAHA but it was fun just chilling out :)

singapore : day 4!

The next day, mummy and i headed back to orchard to get all the last minute buys we wanted after thinking bout it over the night :) tops, bags, jacket( I LOVE! ) and eat all our fav foods. hehehe.

first stop? chwee kueh! YUUUM! its so much yummier there n smoother compared to the ones here. seriously.

then we shopped shopped.. and after ALL THAT SHOPPING ( which was seriously great sales ) we headed to BEN & JERRYS! wheee :D:D:D:D yes, i was so happy, i was skipping around orchard all the way to the shop. haha! in my bruddas words "the food of the Gods." haha. so SINFUL.but.. so GOOD! :D

i loved the whole beach/chill out concept of the shop. whee!

while we were eating, there were pigeons flying around! :) what i found adorable was their FEET! they were red! not something u see in kl now is it :) super cute pigeons!

Next stop to omnyomnyom? OLD CHANG KEE! if u go to singapore and NOT eat this. your weird. haha! its way better than their outlet they opened in KL. i love fried squid! :D whee. the pigeon even followed us to the store. HAHA! :P

Anyways, we continued shopping till evening, then.. i had to eat one more thing. ice cream wafer!! no pics though, was busy eating it. :D i don't know why kl doesn't have it -.- but in singapore its everywhere! and its yummy! mmm mint chocolate chip ice-cream wafer! mummy said.. GLUTONY. hahaha! but heck, once in many months? its worth my $1. haha! :):):) n it was so satisfying = very happy!

After that we bough back some pastries for the relatives/supper and headed home :) a super productive n yummy day we had! :D very, satisfied. haha!

singapore : day 3

i woke up at 6.45am and decided to go for a jog with my uncle! while we were jogging along the old army camps, it started to drizzle! but we continued to jog.. then BAAAABOOM it poured like crazy. ahaha! so uncle and i said "wtheck la just jog in the rain!". haha it was really fun jogging in the rain :) haven't done it in ages! it felt so good! :D

came back, washed up, had scrumptious breakfast.. then onwards to chinatown aunty, mummy and i went :) we went to source out some new suppliers. i found super pretty items! i can't wait to make them into gorgeous pieces :D whee!

after walking around, i headed down to orchard to meet up with my lovely pre-U mates and do some shopping together! they were such sweeties to travel 3 hours just to see me :) loves! had tons of fun catching up!

well, this is probably the last few times i'm heading down, considering my relatives are no longer there :( so..

the night we arrived, relatives took us for some yummy prata and wantan mee :) mmm! hehe. i love eating in singapore. actually, i spend more cash on food, then shopping. haha! their food is slightly diff la :) omnyomnyom! the prata = so. good! GAH. haha

something in the house triggered my allergy :( so when i woke up, i had pink eyes and puffyness. sigh! but nothing a lil antihistamine tablet can't fix! *grins* heheehe. so anyways..
woke up early for church, then headed for lunch ( yummy peranakan food ) with family friends n relatives!

then we headed to SWIRLS ( near coronation plaza ) for gelato. mama mia! magnific! i swear, i was in friggin happy land. :):):) no pics tho, i totally forgot to carry my cam :(

Since today we were gonna get our results for our sem finals, us girls decided to head for lunch/karaoke/shopping to release tension la you know. haha!

It was really fun singing our lungs out :D haha loves. haha though, red box food kinda sucks. Like the pasta was pretty salty, n though my pan-seared fish tasted good, certain parts had the fishy taste :( like they didn't clean it properly. GAH. oh well. haha. mushroom soup = GOOD though :)

After singing, we shopped! I found some awesome shorts n a fab skirt, but gonna bring mummy to check it out with me n see if we can get something for the big sis too, since Cotton On has its offers :) *grins* wahaha. i want my skirt. haha!

At 4pm, we dashed back to uni as our results got released. ZOMGOODNESS LA! Ok, the thing is right, I need good grades since i'm a transfer student. Last sem, i didn't do so well, so i really had to have awesome results this sem! or else, the dean/programme coordinator would hunt me down! (not good! 0.0)

Anyhoo, as we were reaching uni, someone told jess.. everyone passed! YAAAAAY which means, no resit babeh. haha :D then the next thing was.. zomg whats our GPA/cGPA?! I tell you, when i held the envelope in my hands, i was darrrrrrrrn nervous! but when i opened it, well, my results weren't as good as i hoped, but it was still pretty darn good :D so WHEEEEEEE. i'm a happy girl! hehee. I seriously thank God for the results he has blessed me with. All glory to Him!

This happened the second last day of class! we were allocated certain countries, we had to buy/cook and know history of the country and foods of the place! :D it was really fun, my group was ITALY! whee maginific! haha

I was really blessed with great group members and jess, as our leader. We decided to cook each dish we were presenting, except our tiramisu (bought) which we had no time to do. haha!

My first time cooking minestrone soup, but i must say, it turned out puhretty friggin awesome :D haha ppls loved it, which made my day, considering i cut 134513237238 veges the day before, and woke up at blooming 5am to cook the dish for our presentation. haha! and guess what?

WE WON THIRD PLACE! wheee!! :D ahaha at the beginning of the task, we all agreed we were gonna work our best to win no.1, but after seeing other teams, we kinda doubted we would win. haha but low n behold, when they said ITALY THIRD PLACE! we all looked at each other with great shock, and screamed like there was no tomorrow. ahahah! teamwork, effort, all paid off. hehee. :)

boyfriend decided to go for a nice dinner to celebrate! so we decided to roam soho kl and since the ramen ppl were nice, we decided to eat ramen! and leave meatworks for another day :) hehee. i must say! for the price we payed, it was reasonable and i. loved. the. soup! WAYYY better than those in the malls and all :) yuuum! hehee

we had a lil adventure :P haha!

For easter this year, i attended service with mua familia, and the next day.. i went to help raise funds for ALFA's life camp in september! i am ubber excited :D so clem n i did the drinks. ice blended? anyone? :) i must say, the sermon was pretty good this yr in both places i attended!

well our aussie Lums came back home for the hols! well half of them. hahaha! so we had out traditional chill out dinner with awesome killer seafood :) meet my newest nephew, Zain! his utterly adorable!! :D he has such gorgeous eyes, giggles everytime we play with him, gives u high 5's and will smother u in kisses everytime u say cium! :) such an adorable tike!

HAHA! pure adorable.

u know whats more amazing? he can use the iphone!! haha he plays games, watches wiggles n all on it :) what a genius lil boy!

So today, I headed back to a place i grew up in with my friends and familia. I haven't been back there in a year since everything went topsy turvy there. But hey, I finally decided to follow my family & family friends back today!

My reason of going back? I needed the closure. I was finally really ready to let go of all my past and really really finally move on forward to learn n grow in my new home, not having half my heart back there and the other half somewhere else.

Over the year, i've slowly let go bits n pieces, but now.. i've let go of it all! :) My anger, frustration, and other emotions, all i've surrended to the big daddy. And i'm very glad to say, I got the closure i needed! I can feel a peace, and now i'm oh so ready to jump in with two feet in my new home, alfa and acts, to learn grow and serve :) whee!

It was great seeing old friends and catching up. i miss some of them very much. I appreciate all of ya'll who came to chat with me that day :) *hugs* love ya'll long time. the younger ones have grown up too! gosh, made me feel so old. hahahah! peace out, homies ;)

uring CNY the girls decided to roadtrip down to melaka! :) We departed kayu mamak at 9am! Mun Teng drove us down puhreeeetty fast! hahaha. fun. we dropped of our bags at Ah Chin's picked her up n off we went to Edna's crib :D

Edna's sister made some awesomest choc cheese cake man. haha Our "cannibal" friend and Ah chin then took us around town! wheee. hello..FOOD! :D

first makan of the day.. chicken rice ball! :) loved the chicken, hated the rice ball :( it wasn't as nice as i hoped it be.

after gobbling our lunch, we decided to shop along jonker!

then onwards to see the church-fountains. it was so hot but windy(thank God for wind) and MY BATTERIES DIED! :( sigh. this is what u get for forgetting to charge them cam batts. gah.

We then headed off to eat some yummy cendol n rojak. MMMM. hehehe. i passed on the rojak. was busy trying to configure my gps who wasn't loving me that day :( haha. onwards we went! to some place out of no where to eat ikan bakar! hahaa. one fish was awesome, the other..overcooked :(

then we...ATE MORE. yes. and u wonder where all that food went eh. hahaa. we stopped by famous tan kim hock to get our "asked for groceries" from parents*cough DODOL! cough* haha. then omnyomnyom satay celup! it looked..groas. haha but tasted pretty okie. i was hoping to gobble some nonya food but maybe next time. haha

Next day, we dragged our arses out of bed for dim sum! mmmm :) followed by kara-OKe! session. ahaha. we then headed home in the evening, with yours trully, as captain of the car. hahaa. wahseh :) my first kinda long distance trip as driver. ahaha peace out, homie.

Man! My first CNY in KL has been pretty cool, better then i expected at least :) hehe!

This year i decided to opt for a nice top instead of my typical cny cheongsam choice! :) why? THE WEATHER IS KILLER. gah!

Anyhoo.. reunion dinner with the LUMS! Well half of us, that is. haha! It was a yummy dinner i must say :) I stuffed myself silly. heheee. SO. GOOD. except the yu sang which had miserable amounts of salmon. so.. not cool. haha. roar!

On CNY day, familia and i headed to church for service.. den ONWARDS! to pai chia :D wheee! first stop? kongkong's crib! mmmmm.. he had the awesomemest goodies ever. totally satisfied my cravings for my spore realtives goodies which i couldn't eat this yr. haha! omnyomnyom!

Since valentine's and cny landed on the same day and boyfie had to head back to ipoh, while i stayed here in kl for the first time in my life. YES, all my life i've gone to pai chia in singapore. haha. So we decided to celebrate early, our 11th month anni, valentines and cny! :)

We.. forgot our camera :( *cries* Anyhoo..we decided to gobble some ramen noodles in a restaurant which seemed to be constantly jammed pack! So we decided, IT MUST BE GOOD! and gave it a try :) It was pretty yummy, i must say! Then onwards we went to watch VALENTINE'S DAY! :D I'm sorry all 500 days of summer fans, but.. i think this show beats 500days. I loved vday! it was hillarious! :)

I loved how everything was interconnected, showing from all relationship aspects, and the funny funny scenes with the all star cast :) Loved anne hathaway, ashton kutcher, taylor lautner&bradley cooper(HOT) and jessica biel. HILLARIOUS. Epic ending man. hahaa I won't spoil it for ya'll ;) not the best love comedy ever, but one of the cutest! :) Go check it out, all you couples :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL! :D:D:D

Wow! can you believe a year has passed? I can't! Gollygee! that was fast! If time flys by as fast as it did in 2009.. i'll be in aus in no time! aikaramba! haha.

As it is a new year, reflections and resolutions are to be made right? Usually I ain't a fan to do this but wtheck right? why not give it a try this year! :P haha

So 2009 has been pretty rough for me and yet, there are many awesome moments! :) too many to blog :P so i shall just pick a few..aight? haha

Firstly, reflections?

Well, God has put me through SO SO SO many tough challenges this year. There were moments where i just broke down n cried and just wanted to give up, but hey! with a great God up there, friend and family support, anything is possible! :)

My wise mummy once told me, " if God puts you in a situation, he knows u can handle it, and he will guide you through it" and i believe so! :)

This year i graduated form Pre-U! working my butt off and really trusting God to provide and show me which field to enter in uni :) I'm uber happy i got honours! which was an achievement for me considering the past years i've been puhreeetty playful! :P

It was really great to have awesome hillarious loving friends through out CIMP and see the parents so proud of their lil girls achievements at grad! :) hahaa priceless moments!

Now, i'm in IMU! Future dietician, Ms.Lum, at your service in 3.5 years. hahaha! Woot! I can't wait :) My plans have changed so much these past yrs, but i believe i'm in IMU for a reason :)though i ain't fond of IMU's system. haha

Our long awaited Langkawi trip FINALLY happened. haha! which was tons of fun!

I gotta see my nephews and cousin in singapore :) as i've not seen them in 2 years now!

And, i'm no longer single. haha! soon to be 10 months and counting :) whee! love mua boy :)

I got my priorities back on track these past year. God, family, boy, studies & friends! I've learned so much in 2009, and i'm hoping all those experiences will help me in 2010! :) whee!

Furthermore, i realized i'm blessed with really awesome friends! I thank God for each and everyone of them who've been such a blessing me throughout the year! :)

friends who dropped everything just to be there for me/gave advice/do the sillyest things/hide in the bushes/ gone all out. I'm really blessed to have you peeps as my friends! :) *big hugs!*

NOW, resolutions? hmm!

Excel and do really well in my studies.

Yes, i plan to tap into my inner nerd once again! hehee. Hey! gotta work hard for what we want right? :) Nutrition aaaaaain't as easy as it looks, man!

straighten out my priorities even more this year!

Family, God, boy, and so on! gotta balance my time and all properly! you hear? haaha.

Settle down in a church i've grown to love.

I think its been long enough. A year of seeking where I should serve God and for a church I can grow and learn in, and i think i finally know where :) i'm still praying bout it though! hehee.

Wait on God for provision&miracles.

I got back from langkawi, washed clothes, repacked my luggage bag, and off to singapore i went! this time, i went down to see my couz and her 2 sons from nz! whee! no shopping for me this time! :) charles, i bet ur so proud of me. hahaha! but seriously, the exchange rate was up too, so i couldn't be bothered to shop :P

the two babies were so adorable! i miss them already :( it was a good catch up session with the cousins, uncle & aunty though! :)

DAY 3

Due to the drinking and laughing at each other the night before, most of them woke up late! haha we rushed to check out, den rushed to kuah town to do our oh-so-last-minute shopping! chocs! alcohol! haha for me.. tons of chocs :P HEEEHE.

after our "BE QUICK!BUY YOUR STUFF IN 10 MIN N MEET BACK AT THE CAR" shopping, we dashed to the airport! why? someone had bought our car over :( so we were unable to extend our rental time. gah! oh well. haha

We settled down in kenny rogers and had a scrumptious lunch while waiting for the check in counters to open :)

we made our last minute buys, boarded the plane, and came back home! adios langkawi, we shall meet again, soon! :)

DAY 2

Our itinerary :
0900 breakfast
1000 cable car up to mt.cincang
1400 hike to waterfalls to play
1730 head to the beach for some awesome fun!

That was our ORIGINAL plan. haha It got changed along the way :P

We woke up late & headed to the cable car area where we had fried rice/roticanai for breakfast! Then we went to the cable car place to find.. IT WAS JAMMED PACK. can die. haha. Seriously! 2 tour groups and the normal tourists. Gone!

So we lined up for about an hour, to finally be able to go up. I got a mini sunburn on my arms while waiting :( but it wasn't bad. haha!

When we reached the top, it was plain gorgeous! The view, the cold CLEAN air. We snapped pics to our hearts content and grabbed a small bite/drink.

Then as us girlies were staring at Mt.Boobies(yes, we named a mountain mt boobies, cause it looked like boobs!), the boys dissapeared!

So we happily went down those stairs, to find oursleves starting a mini hike! haha Debbie in a jungle? OMG. haha! But i'm real proud of deb for trying & not giving up half way even when she felt like it :)

As we were hiking, more n more random ppl started following us at the back. First a chubby chinese man, then 2 malay ppl, den a family n.. it kept growing! HAHAHA

The 3 of us were yelling MARCO! loudly like silly girls! when suddenly we heard..POLO!oh my WORD! The guys voices! hahaa. So we just kept hiking & yelling marco polo until we could see them! :D

According to the boys, they could see us from the top where they had hiked too..den suddenly more ppl started popping out of nowhere, following us! hahaa

I guess those strangers thought we looked very pretty/funny/weird n decided to follow us?HAHAHA! It was fun tho :) n we knew if anything happened, we wouldn't die alone!!hahaa! We had a casualty along the hike, well.. a mini one! mr.Luther's foot got cut along the way.

After our mini hike, few didn't wanna go climbing through a forest to the waterfalls so we decided to head directly to the beach! :) Coming down the mountain, my ears gave me hell again :( It was so blocked I couldn't hear nuts.. It took me hours to clear it man. It was like my ears were soundproof! hahaa

So onwards to the beach we went! Where the couples kayaked, while deb n lut took pics! :) It was really fun! Mid-way out towards the horizon ;) we saw some wierd strand stuff floating in the water! n there were more the further out we kayaked! jelly fish eggs?JELLYFISH?shark? hahha!

We decided to collect some n headed back to shore :P to find out they were..SOTONG EGGS! cool. *touches them* haha :) soft n gooey!We threw them back into the sea, don't worry!

The boys saw something floating in the deeper end while swimming. Stared at it for sometime to realize..JELLYFISSSSH! haha . They ran away :P hahaa!We played frisbee! :D The sand was so soft, so perfect to play!

We catched lil crabbies, and the largest of them all we named.. MR KRABS! hahah :) Took tons of pics, n had fun just playing in the water, watching the sun set :) All in all, a great time at the beach! :)

We headed back to our chalets and washed up! Zac n Lut went n stocked up on maggi n junk food as our dinner for the night :P We were lazy to go out to eat.hehe.

We played donkey to see who became the donkey of food(cook everyone's maggi) n drinks. Mun n I terkena 0.0 hahaha! Previously was deb n lut! oh well :)

After dinner, the drinking started! Indian poker babeh! hahaa :) Man, were they drunk. hahaha HILLARIOUS esp munmun. Zac n I were the caretakers of the night. haha

LANGKAWI! Day 1

we met up at my place & took a cab to LCCT at 7.30am! man, were we groggy. hahaa! once we reached, our first destination while waiting to check in, was starbucks! munmun needed her dose before we left :) my partners in crime this trip : clement, debbie, luther, yin mun & zac!

then we all checked in, n killed the rest of the time at mcD's having breakkie! doesn't lut just look like a mafia. haha!

while waiting at the departure hall, our plane was delayed! so we played cards ( donkey&21) to kill time! haha n camhored here n there :P

LANGKAWI, HERE WE COME!

this was taken before the airbase person said NO PICTURES! haha. i was little sick during the trip. i had throat infection, which was affecting my ears too :( so when the plane was up in the air, my ears were killing me! the pain! i though my ear drums were gonna burst ok :(

once we reached, we rented a car n picked up our luggage n off we went! wheee! haha

unclaimed baggage? anyone? haha :)

next destination? KUAH TOWN! shop shop shop shop! i forgot to get my nougat and guylian choc *cries* oh well. i'll ask someone to get it for me :P kekeke. it was scorching hot i tell you!gah! but well, i prayed for good weather while were out n about, n God answered mua prayers! whee! we had awesome weather!

onwards to our next destination! berjaya beach&resort hotel.. to check in! :) its one mighty gorgeous place i tell you! :) if i could stay longer there, i may never leave! haha we had to take lil safari like vans to n fro from our chalets! whee!

first thing we did,made house rules, changed n ran to the gorgeous private beach at our resort :D wheee! its the best beach ever :) non sticky sand, sand as soft as.. a pillow? haha! pure awesomeness!

after a fun day at the beach, we washed up n off to dinner we went! :) some seafood restaurant the hotel recommended a drive away. behold.. we ordered everything except seafood! hahaa :D were cool that way. hahaha!

after dinner we headed to pantai chenang to buy some groceries, n shop/window shop! hehe :) sadly it was pretty dead that night! 0.0 shocking.

after all the grocerie shopping n everything, we headed back to the hotel, chilled at the beach and did some awesome star gazing! the sky was so pretty! :) unlike kl where there are NO STARS. gah! we scribbled our names/initials/random stuff into the sand, SOS size. like.. HUGE. haha! :) fun! whee!

we then headed back to our room, and called it the night! some bummed around, others drank, others played cards! :) cheers! day 2, coming soon! :D

so few months ago my awesome funny loving chatterbox of a cousin, named aaron, married a stunning funny sweet spanish seniorita, named raquel! :D they flew back here to have their lovely wedding dinner! the gorgeous bride donned a sexy lovely red dress, while the groom just looked oh so fab :)

It was an awesome night filled with great dedications, speeches, and just catching up with all our friends and relatives! :) tiring for us cousins who were running around snapping pics, hosting and all. but ubber fun!

the speeches were one of the funniest i've ever heard in my life. pure awesomeness! like my couz (the grooms bro) when he said, the groom "had a temper of a dragon, for example when someone stole his roti canai on saturday morning when he was young his temper would make evryone silent, but now with a few whispers from raquel, and this dragon turned into a chipmunk." HAHAHAHAHA. gosh! i laughed so hard i could have cried. haha! :) uncle's speech was really sweet and funny too! whee! a great night i must say! :D aaron's speech was just awww worthy! :)

all around, it was a great night! :)

The MLA charity dinner.

it was a night filled with fun, tons of money spent for a good cause and fellowship :) the purpose of the dinner was to raise money for different children homes. orphans & special needs children ( HIV etc.)

biding on items from alcohol, to melinda ooi fashion pieces, to overseas one of a kind pieces, to dinner dates with very very wanted people ;) all the proceeds were given to the homes! over RM50000 was raised from the bids! Praise God! hehe. The mc was hillarious! especially when he was trying to convince a lil boy to bid for his mummy. hahaha! " ah boy! you want r? "

Uncle Teng turns 55! :)

He celebrated this great mark in his life with gorgeous wife and his friends. A night filled with food, drinks, fun, joy, and looooads of laughter! pure awesomeness! the food was reasonable for the HUGE portions they served. and it tasted preetty yummy too! :)

after uncle Teng blew out his candles, a prayer of blessing was said upon his life & family. then the big big YAAAAAM SENG TOAST! over and over! hahah :) so funny i tell you! then someone yelled " A KISS FOR EVERY YEAR!!" so aunty have uncle 3 kisses! hahah! awww :D a very very sweet moment i tell you! :D

no, your eyes aren't deceiving you! haha he had 3 cakes! one from his colleagues, another a good friend baked, and the other from josh n gloria! :) all the cakes were gooood. haha i is loves the chocolates towers ones. YUM! *grins* :D

told you the portions were HUGE. i ordered lamb shank, and could only finish half ok. NO JOKE. haha! but it was all good.

this lil cutie was playing balloons with the other kiddos, but when she saw strawberries on the cake, she stopped. looked at the adults at the table *like the above* and said " can i have strawberry pwease?" AWW!! :) such a cutiepie.

anyways i gotta head back to work. Uncle Teng, if you do read this, I pray God will richly bless you and your family, as you've blessed many of us, especially my family and myself :) May he continue to guide, bless and teach you in all you do! :) cheers!

ola people! so i am officially on study break! time to buckle down to the books! raawr! :)

so today after our last lecture, us girlies changed in to girlie clothes n hit the mall! why? to celebrate li chin's birthday! we headed to taipan for hair damage control as lee cheng's haridresser messed up her cut the day before. running in the rain was funny :)

note - i was wearing pretty + expensive shoes ok. haha! need. to. protect them.

then onwards to PYRAMID! first stop, papa john's!! i must say, their bread sticks are THE BOMB. like seriously. haha! soooo goodddd. pizza is pretty reasonable and yummy too! :)

next stop? krispy kreme!! :D hehehe. here, we obducted li chin's stuff.
u see, she's a melaka girl. n me n lee cheng decided to make her do what us kl girls have done - embarass ourselves in the mall at least once on our birthday. hahaha! yes, we felt a lil evil too ;)
so, li chin had to do embaraasing-hillariouusss tasks in order to get her stuff back.

task 1 : get a krispy kreme customer to sing happy birthday to her or else she will have to give us her heels. haha! so she went to this guy at the counter. this really sweet guy was sooo cute! he sang to her willingly! :D awww!

immediately, she really wanted her phone.. so.. we gave her task 2! hahaa!

task 2 : run up an escalator thats coming downwards while yelling, its my birthday! its my birthday! hahahahaa.
she ran up, minus the yelling. SO FUNNY OK. i must say, gotta respect that lady :) she did it with tons of guts! she earned her phone back :)

task 3 : we wanted her to pose with lingerie maniquines and yell GOOD MORNING AMERICA over the ice-rink but tak jadi la. no shop to do n so few skaters. SO.. we got her to dance the para para machine! hahaa she kept saying i'm fit la! :) but when she did it, soo hillarious la. she simply danced. haha! she failed the dance so no items given back :P

then while we were shopping, she saw an awesome top she wanted n took it to the cashier to realize.. WE HAD HER WALLET. hahah! so..

task 4 : kiss the man maniquine at the nearby shop. she attempted to realize, the maniquine was too tall! AHAHAHA. so funny :D 2nd attempt, the shop manager chased us away! aww :( oh well, at least she attempted. so we paid for her top :)

at the end of the day, everything was returned, many things were bought and we had tons of fun! :D whee! their the uni mates that make uni life oh so much fun :) haha n she had a blast which was utter importance.

came home, sorted notes n skyped with the boyfriend *grins* yayy! gobbled a ramli burger moments ago. I AM SO FULL. anyhooo..*skips like a lil girl* that's all folks! i'm tiiiired!*waves* tata!

The boyfie bought me a puhretty rose for my birthday last weekend :)

celebrated with uncle and aunty too! the cake was soooo huge, we couldn't finish it, so we gave it away! hahaa!

yesterday we celebrated my "twins" birthday. haha! LIZA is 19 yooo! :) a lil bbq in her awesome pad.

her cake was so friggin awesome i could sit n eat till i puke :P hehee. seriously. it was real good cake. haha!

managed to cath up a lil with a few friends like the high school boys, justine and vivien :) met new peeps too! :)

clem and i went out with woon kee, ethan, luther and yin mun to just chill out n have fun! :) the boys drank some beer to destress themselves ;) while us girlies chit chatted n lazed around. hahaaa a very funny-fun night i must say! :)

2moro is our " educational talk" we have to present, she only passes me her work today. then our lecturer said, she did her part wrong. then she expects me to fix it. so basically means i did the whole freaking presentation. and now, when were suppose to meet on msn n discuss final details, she's no where to be found. seriously, she needs a smack -.- mana boleh ni macam!!! aargh!! i'm hungry, tired n cranky right now. its 11pm n i haven't eaten dinner thanks to this genius partner of mine n her mess up. please excuse my cranky ranting...

these past few days have been so hectic for me its ridiculous. monday, i hardly slept cause i was drowning myself in nutritional information cause i had an exam on tuesday! i was so dead tired, the paper was so darn mind boggling. imagine, memorizing every function, use, RNI, toxicity levels, sources of foods for EVERY FRIGGIN VITAMIN N MINERAL! vitamins A, D, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C and every friggin mineral from copper, selenium n so on! maaaaaan. i have never felt my brain so tired/confused.

so i did the crazy exam. i was so tired. then i had to stay whole day in uni n also do an english presentation at the end of the day!.i think our presentation went well, well i had fun doing the demo part, pricking myself infront of the whole class. ahaha. and u know whats the best part? NEXT DAY GOT ANOTHER EXAM! aiyoooo. hahaa. another sleepless night.

dead tired, i spent the night drowning myself in organic chem! aku macam zombie tau pergi uni. mata bengkak semua. aiyoyo! i could have slept if i had leaned on anything.

haha ANYWAYS and i'm praying i'll do exceedingly well in both the nutrition n chem exam! rawwr! :) anyhoo TO DESTRESS, lee cheng, li chin and i headed to pyramid!! :) the taxi man conned us by taking the traffic jam road near the mall. haha oh well, earning a living right? :) then the taxi man back to uni also did but he was nice enough to kurang tambang for his nonsence. haha!

ONWARDS! to popeyes for some yummy fried chicken n mashed potato goodness. seriously, i love popeyes. the chicken, scones, and mash is ubber yummy! *drools* :P kekeke. we were so full n tired, we started getting sleepy. so we started shopping! which totally woke up us. hahaha! :) after a long "should i get it? no! think about it? should i?" we had to rush back to uni for our final class! :) which we were half asleep in. too. cold. to. focus. hahah! anyhoo! destress time before back to work again! rawwr.

Thank you all for the smses, calls, facebook msgs, suprises n wishes! i really appreciate each n every one of them! :)

so my night started 30 min before midnight n i turned 19! :) smses started coming in esp from overseas! hahaa thank you lovelies. then at midnight, i was just chilling out at home when i got a call.

HUH! OK WAIT R. I GO CHANGE INTO PROPER CLOTHES. haha!!

i just finished changing into pajamas after bathing ok. what u thinking. hahaa! anyhoo..

outside my house, the boy was there smiling with a MIGHTY huge cake! OMG :D:D:D

then in my mind. " oh me word, big cake! wait.. is this.."

then suddenly 9 wonderful friends jumped out from all directions screaming.. SURPRISSEEEE!!! :D

had a physio test last week, i think i'll do alright! was pretty upset initially cause i messed up quiet a bit, but heck, everyone does right! so i'm believing God will help me through this paper! n hopefully i'll be able to ace it so the dean won't hunt me down :P haha!

us girlies headed to midv gardens to celebrate lee cheng's birthday after our mind boggling physio paper! 7 of us in sushi zanmai stuffing our faces silly :) mmmm yum! then onwards to the rooftop where a garden is being built to snap pics. OMG super funny. the construction workers were staring with faces that said.. what are these crazy 7 girls doing?! haha! super fun though snapping away. *click click flash!*

went for early birthday dinner celebration with the family! :) since exams n all next week are gonne make me one busy lady! i wanted tony roma's but daddy was in a hurry, so we opted for TGIF. personally, i've always thought chillies is better. but anyways i ordered Jack Daniel ribs for dinner. mmm. oh how i loveee ribs. haha! tgif ribs are ok i still prefer chilies. haha! mummy was angry at the chef cause everyones dishes had to much salt. seriously -.- fail case. but other than that desserts were yummy n had fun celebrating with me familia! whee!

oh yea, ppls been asking what i wish for le bday, n erm.. i couldn't think of anything but when i do, it'll pop up at the side under the wishlist panel. till then, cheers! :)

WHAT'S UP YAAAA'LL! hahaa :) sorry i just had dinner at TEAPOT, i'm so stuffed i feel like a ball! but it was one AWWWEEESOME dinner with le familia! wheee!

so this week. one word. MADNESS. okay firstly, my phone crashes during a software update cause NOKIA's programme crashed.oh. the. joy. 0.0

so i thought.. "oh well i'll just update later then" but behold!!!!! my phone never started again. so mummy drove me all the way to the maxis care centre in bangsar to repair it. they took friggin 5 days and charged me RM50 for the bloody thing. WHAAAAT! gah. oh well. hahaa.i lost all my contacts, birthdays n smses! *CRIES* so people, text me your number! haha so i can re-add it! please and thank youuuu! :)

remember my chem exam that was postponed? it was this week!!!i studied my butt off till i was so tired i could have slept on anything i leaned on. hahahaa! i lived on tea and 20 min naps. dun belive me? ask colin how blur i was in the library. macam zombie tau. rawwr! oh I MADE CARELESS MISTAKES *whines n pouts* haha!

but hey! i tried my best, and i believe God was guiding me through the paper ( cause chem is sooooo not my subject. i can stare at chem n go whaa???? haha!) i belive i will excel in it! wheee! :D faith people, faith! hahaa. Thank you Jesus. Amen!

Friday the boyfriend visited me@uni! *grins* yaay! so after my chem exam i was in a lecture n didn't hear my phone. then when i opened my inbox, i read this..

so i called to find.. the genius boy found his way to teknologi park! tho he did turn to apit initially but found his way back! wahseeh he's navigation skills ( or my sublimal sayings of the park through talking) got him to IMU! hahaha! he taught he was lost at one point too! hahaa so cute :) onwards to sri petaling for lunch den back to uni where i went for a lecture while he explored uni. haha!

Had bbq/lantern/mooncake celebration at diedre's place! :) i must say, ze chefs cooked mighty well! awesome burgers n chicken wings! great fellowship filled with laugther, sillyness n for the girls, camhoring! hahaa well i was more bothered stuffing my face silly with the yummy burger. hahahaa! what. i'm a hungry girl ok. 0.0 haha! so anyhoo it was really fun! and was also funny watching japeth season the burgers and try to bbq mash potatoes. HAHA! got technique one ok. haha!

at the boyfie's youth today.. we played games! hahaa FUN! :D 1st game was so hillarious i couldn't run and do it initailly till i stopped laughing! the game was get ur teamates over the fastest!!

run to 1st base line : *point finger,yells* "WHAT IS THAT?!" (4 times) while jumping in a circle!
run to 2nd line : make elephant trunk action n yell "MEOW!!"(4 times) while turning in a cirlce
run to 3rd line : jump, face your team mates, put hands around eyes, bend ur knees *yell* "IS IT A..?"

...HAHAHAHA wah, i laughed so hard i almost cried. haha! SOOO HILARIOUS. oh oh oh!!! OUR TEAM WON!!YAY! *jumps!* :) haha!

2nd game was like PACMAN!!! which was uber fun! run for ur lives from the catchers, dun get caught or ur out! only can turn left! GOSH. i was running like mad from the catcher. super funny! haha! 3rd game was blindfolded "FOOD" tasting! all kinds of stuff man. from spices, to sweets stuff to vege! i got 2 out of 3 right! woohoo! hahaa :) helping mummy in the kitchen when i was small did help :P kekeke

So as everybody in the world either disses the jonas brothers or loves them to bits! For me personally, I love some of their songs (Lovebug&Fly with me), but other times they can get a liiiiittle annoying. ahaha! their love bug vid is so cute :D hehe. well out of the 3, I like nick jonas :P wahaa.

hello world!

I slept at 3am 2 days in a row, and woke up at 9 to continue studying just to find out 5 min ago that.. MY UNI POSTPONED MY EXAM!!!! AAAAAAAAAH!!!SO AHHHHHH!!!@!#@#%%@@!!!! i studied so hard okay!! :( drowning my self in all that phenols, structures, names!!! now they postpone to after raya. kill my joy only la they all. it seems the coms in the lab crashed or something like that. AAAAAAAH. gone. on the bright side, maybe this is God's way of giving me more time to read up n fully understand everything.

so now i'm too irritated to sleep. so i shall blog and update u peoplees! hahaa :D embrace yourselves! :D

Today the little nephew (in NZ) went in for a minor operation, early early morning Msia time! Stayed up praying for the little cutie, and Praise and Thank God! Everything went smoothly! He is recovering well, from what i heard from my aunty and charles! Thank God :)

I've been so busy till.. I FELL SICK! :(:( First, mummy fell sick-> I fell sick -> daddy fell sick. AHAHA. I think mummy & I infected daddy! LOL anyhoo then i realized, my ears were getting blocked. I though " gah, i'll be fine. just a small flu effect?" then after few days, IT GOT WORST & DIDN'T GO AWAY! :(:(

So I told daddy, He checked n put me on antibiotics. note : i don't like antibiotics. they make u tired n this one makes me nauseas. Horrid i tell you!!!!

Anyhoo! I went for ice-cream with darren last week to catch up since we hadn't seen each other in ages :) baskin robbins!! omnyomnyom! :D:D followed by drinks at old town! pics are with him so i aint got any! will load once i get them :)

Spent time with the boyfie :D:D:D and his family and my family!:) haha his parents are so funny! :) they fooled n scared the lil sister with mouse related pranks. haha! so funny i tell you. I sat there laughing like a crazy woman. haha!

Had my first class test today! I tell u, i studied like a mad woman ok. no joke. all the tocopherols diones n aaaaaaaaah! all those long complicated names linked to so so so many things! seriously, i was kinda panicing.

I entered the room sat there n stared at the paper. prayed. n did the darn thing! after the paper, teachers told us the mcq answers and so far.. i know i got 1 wrong! HAHAHa thank God its only 1. but SAQ i know i messed up in one of the sections*SIGH* darn definitions. oh well! i praaaaaay i do well :D whee!

After the paper, Carmen, Asam and I went to pyramid to kinda celebrate. hahaa! well, more like eat like crazy. haha! we bowled, shopped n stuffed ourselves silly before rushing back to uni for our afternoon class!

Merdeka! since1/2 of the group we usually do the fireworks tradition with is in aussie now, this yr we decided to just crash in n watch a dvd! we watched hangover! OMG its so funny :) lil sick at parts, but funny :) clem couldn't come though cause he was "quarantined" :(

HAHAHA don't ask. hahahaa!

anyways after dvd-ing we decided to walk around the neighbourhood where "someone" dared zac to dingdong a random house bell. WHICH HE DID. I was too bothered running away from the house to take a pic. hahaa! to top of the night, we headed to mcBU for supper! :) whee. all in all, fun!

great time of bonding, stuffing our faces silly with durian (with like 15boxes leftover) YES. WE HAD SO MUCH DURIAN WE COULD FEED 50! n there were only 16 of us. hahaha! we can't help ourselves when it comes to durian :P followed by mahjong with our funny eccents :P of course, no gambling involved! and we learnt from our king of mahjong, kong kong!! :) aaah, big loves!

Lum Clan - mei's wedding/karaoke

hey ya'll! :) I've had one insanely packed weekend! I am utterly in need of the oh, so soft, bed and pillows! haha!

On Saturday, one of the lovely LUM clan members got married! :) Their love story? They knew each other since they were young. He was her older brother's best friend turned hubby! They hanged out, dated, and over time.. fell in love! teehee :)

So the day kicked off with a simple gorgeous catholic wedding at St.Ignatius church! The bride donned a designer pearly white dress drapped in lace! the theme of the whole wedding was blue&white. The choir sang awesomely, the flower girls, ring boy, and bridemaids looked fab! Tons on cams snapping away, catching their memories which will last forever! :D After the service, a small luncheon was held on church grounds! The happily married couple drove of in a sexy red sports car, with the classic JUST MARRIED sign and cans following the car backside. haha!

Everyone then rushed home, freshened up then onwards to Sheraton Subang Hotel for the tea ceremony, reception and dinner! :) Since I usually wear long dresses for weddings, I decided to wear a short one this time. haha! :P The bride looked gorgeous in her blue sequined cheongsam and leter changed into a girlie blue tube dress, while the groom was clean cut topped of with a white n blue bowtie! very cute. haha!

The classic tea ceremony was carried out. The little tikes were so cute during the tea ceremony! Being so excited, running around with their lil red packets, n even nibbling on it :P You can't blame the lil 7 month cutie n his curiousity can u! haha. The older ones on the other hand, hahaaa.. that's another story filled with " KNEEL! BOW! WHERe'S MY KISS HMM! NO KISS NO ANGPOW!" hahahaa. Some of us had to earn our angpows, while others *coughbride&groomcough* got bullied by the bride's older bro n parents. haha! Uber fun! Classic tea ceremony, with the lil twist :P Eh, we are LUMS after all. What do u expect? haha!

After the tea ceremony, was a small reception followed by a 10 course dinner. haha! We were so stuffed! There was gorgeous pics taken by the groom n other photogs shown on powerpoint while potraits of them were hung along the hallway. Happy, funny, cute speeches done by the parents, newlyweds n the bestman ( My handsome cousin who's a doctor, single and available! Grab him while u can, ladies! haha! :P) and bridesmaid. All around, the dinner was yummy! :)

The dancefloor was opened by the bride&groom, with a slow dance, showing off their ballroom skillz. Then.. the Lums invaded the dance floor! with others, of course! :) Where we bust out our moves which you will never usually see! haha! super super super fun!! :) all around.. an awesome night!
